- I stopped drinking on 7 May 2005 at the age of 28 by going to AA meetings, getting a sponsor and doing the steps and trying to do some daily suggestions. My first meeting was in London, Clapham on a Sunday. I have not had a drink or drug, prescribed or illicit, since.

Yes when we allow the isolation shield to be removed or dinted, the chinks in the armour allows the warmth to come through from other people, keep chipping away, let more sunlight in :)
